I weave every piece by hand, using the frivolité (tatting) and ankars techniques — cotton, silk and lurex thread, Czech seed beads, and natural stones like agate, garnet, labradorite and quartz, knotted in one thread at a time. Nothing here comes off a mold or a production line: every knot passes through my own hands before a piece is finished.
Because each piece is tied by hand, no two ever come out quite the same — the way a stone catches the light, or how a thread settles into a knot, changes a little every time. That's not a flaw to me; it's the whole point of author jewelry.
