About this piece

The Stone Path Earrings (two rows) are a pair of long earrings carrying ten grey-green faceted beads each, arranged in two columns of five and every one of them set inside its own ring of silver frivolité (tatting) lace. The beads are translucent, veined inside and mineral in character, and the metallic thread builds a sparkling frame around each one. The fall is flexible, so the double row moves with every turn of your head. These are for the evening, hair up, with something sleek and dark.

Details

Hand-knotted tatting: each bead is enclosed in a ring of double knots, woven in and not glued. Silver metallic thread with a sparkling shimmer, and round flat faceted beads, semi-translucent grey-green, mineral in character. Silver leverback hook. For all their volume, the lace weighs very little and the pair is light to wear. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly the same. They measure 7 cm long by 1.7 cm wide; weight 8 g the pair.

Care

Keep them dry and take them off to sleep. Creams and perfumes go first, the earrings afterwards. Store them flat in the pouch so the two rows don't catch on each other.

Not identical: each piece is woven once, and that exact combination of thread, knot and stone is never repeated. We can weave one inspired by it, in your colours and with the stone you choose, as a custom order.
