About this piece

The Raspberry Frost Earrings are a pair of drop earrings in fuchsia metallic frivolité (tatting) lace, built from four or five oval loops of different sizes chained vertically and off-centre. At the joins, six small rings hold round translucent beads in a lilac-blue: exactly the cold that all that raspberry was asking for. The weave is open, almost all air. If you like colour and don't want anything timid, these are the ones.

Details

Tatting in the ANKARS technique, developed on the base of classic tatting, with firm knots that hold the shape of every loop. Raspberry metallic thread and six round translucent glass beads per earring in a lilac-blue tone, woven into the knots and not glued. Silver leverback hook. The pair is light and doesn't pull on the lobe. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly the same. They measure 5.7 cm long by 1.5 cm wide; weight 4 g the pair.

Care

Keep them dry: off before the pool, the sea or the shower. Put on perfume and cream before you put on the earrings. Store them flat in their pouch, apart from chains that could tangle in the openwork.

How do I care for it?

Keep it dry: water, perfume, cream and chlorine loosen the thread and dull the colour. Clean it only with a dry, soft cloth, and store it flat in its pouch, apart from other pieces and away from humidity.

Can I order an identical one?

Not identical: each piece is woven once, and that exact combination of thread, knot and stone is never repeated. We can weave one inspired by it, in your colours and with the stone you choose, as a custom order.
