The Brisa Helada Necklace — icy breeze — is a choker in silver frivolité (tatting) lace with light-blue faceted crystals spread along its whole length. Rings and small woven leaves chain into one continuous garland and, between them, each crystal sits loose with its facets alive: it follows the movement and throws off glints of cold water. Laid flat it looks like a frosted branch; worn, it settles into the hollow of the throat. A round neckline, an open shirt or a black dress and you are done.
Details
Worked in tatting with the ANKARS technique, developed on the base of classic tatting: tighter knots, and beads that belong inside the weave rather than sitting on it. The thread is silver metallic thread and the light-blue faceted crystals are woven into the knots, not glued on. It fastens with a silver lobster clasp. It is a short necklace that rests at the base of the neck. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly alike. It measures 41 cm long by 1.5 cm wide; weight 23 g.
Care
Don't get it wet and don't wear it in the pool or the sea. Put it on last, once the perfume and the cream have dried. Store it stretched out flat in its case, never rolled up, so the garland doesn't tangle.
