About this piece

The Camino de Piedras Bracelet — the path of stones — is a link bracelet worked in a straight line: a single row of identical frivolité (tatting) lace rosettes, one after the other, each with a greenish-grey faceted stone set at its centre. The band is narrow and very flexible, so it follows the wrist instead of gaping. The antiqued silver thread lets the stone do the talking: this is the understated bracelet of the shop, the one you put on in the morning and never think about again.

Details

Tatting worked by hand in silver metallic thread in an antiqued tone. The greenish-grey faceted stones, mineral-looking and smoky, are knotted into each rosette rather than glued. It fastens with a silver hook that slips into a woven loop in the lace itself. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly alike. It measures 21 cm long by 0.9 cm wide; weight 6 g.

Care

Keep it dry, and put your cream or perfume on before you put it on. Store it flat and stretched out in its case so the links do not stay bent.

Keep it dry: water, perfume, cream and chlorine loosen the thread and dull the colour. Clean it only with a dry, soft cloth, and store it flat in its pouch, apart from other pieces and away from humidity.

Can I order an identical one?

Not identical: each piece is woven once, and that exact combination of thread, knot and stone is never repeated. We can weave one inspired by it, in your colours and with the stone you choose, as a custom order.
