About this piece

The Flor de Lavanda Bracelet — lavender flower — is a link bracelet in frivolité (tatting) lace worked in a matte blue thread with no metallic shine: it is the only one in this batch in that thread, and it makes it more casual than its silver sisters. The pointed-oval links chain one inside the next and carry faceted lilac seed beads with an iridescent sheen spread around the outline. This is the bracelet for jeans and long afternoons.

Details

Hand-worked with a shuttle in the tatting technique, in a blue thread with a matte finish and an even knot. The beads are faceted lilac seed beads with an iridescent shine, woven into the knots and never glued. The findings are silver: a lobster clasp on one side and a heart-shaped ring on the other, which stays in view once the bracelet is closed. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly alike. It measures 22 cm long by 1 cm wide; weight 5 g.

Care

Coloured thread prefers to stay dry: keep it away from water and put it on after your cream and perfume. Store it flat in its case, without folding it.

Not identical: each piece is woven once, and that exact combination of thread, knot and stone is never repeated. We can weave one inspired by it, in your colours and with the stone you choose, as a custom order.
