About this piece

The Cerezos en Flor Bracelet — cherry trees in blossom — is a wide cuff in frivolité (tatting) lace worked in grey-silver metallic thread, with four-petal flowers repeating the whole length of the band. Every petal is filled with faceted crystals in light blue and ice white, and at the heart of each flower sits a tiny pink-lilac crystal standing in for the stamen. The lace holds itself up: the cuff stays round on the wrist instead of flattening or rolling.

Details

Hand-knotted stitch by stitch in the ANKARS technique, developed on the base of classic tatting, in grey-silver metallic thread with a firm knot. The light-blue and ice-white faceted crystals are woven into the knots and cluster inside each petal; the pink-lilac accents mark the centres of the flowers. It fastens with a silver lobster clasp that hooks into a loop woven in the same thread. It is a wide band and even so it is light on the wrist. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly alike. It measures 21 cm long by 1.8 cm wide; weight 8 g.

Care

Keep it away from water and take it off before you wash your hands. Store it in its case, away from perfume and cream, lying flat so the band keeps its curve.

How do I care for it?

Keep it dry: water, perfume, cream and chlorine loosen the thread and dull the colour. Clean it only with a dry, soft cloth, and store it flat in its pouch, apart from other pieces and away from humidity.

Can I order an identical one?

Not identical: each piece is woven once, and that exact combination of thread, knot and stone is never repeated. We can weave one inspired by it, in your colours and with the stone you choose, as a custom order.
