About this piece

The Laguna Dorada Bracelet — golden lagoon — is a link bracelet worked in a straight line that forms a rippling band: the olive-gold lace comes and goes in S-curves, and a bead appears in every fold. Large clear glass spheres alternate with smaller turquoise ones, translucent too, and the effect is of water bubbles caught in the weave. It is bright and cool, one of those pieces that look right with sunlit skin and light clothes.

Details

Frivolité (tatting) worked by hand in olive-gold metallic thread, warm in its shine without going full gold. The clear glass spheres and turquoise beads alternate the whole length of the band, knotted into the lace rather than glued. It fastens with a gold hook that clips onto a woven loop in the lace. Every piece is one of a kind: hand-knotted, stitch by stitch, so no two come out exactly alike. It measures 20.5 cm long by 1 cm wide; weight 6 g.

Care

Take it off before you bathe or swim. Store it flat in its case, away from perfume and cream, so the wave in the lace does not stretch out.

How do I care for it?

Keep it dry: water, perfume, cream and chlorine loosen the thread and dull the colour. Clean it only with a dry, soft cloth, and store it flat in its pouch, apart from other pieces and away from humidity.

Can I order an identical one?

Not identical: each piece is woven once, and that exact combination of thread, knot and stone is never repeated. We can weave one inspired by it, in your colours and with the stone you choose, as a custom order.
